This is the most difficult time for Arvind Kejriwal’s politics. He himself is in danger of being arrested in the liquor scam at any time, while many of his leaders like Manish Sisodia and Sanjay Singh are in jail. In such difficult times, the Aam Aadmi Party is faced with the challenge of not only maintaining its political edge but also maintaining the public credibility with which it had marginalized the established political parties in Delhi and Punjab.
The Lok Sabha election results will also have a direct impact on the Delhi Assembly elections, which can be held exactly a year later in February 2025. From this point of view, this Lok Sabha election is going to be very important for the Aam Aadmi Party. If the Aam Aadmi Party wins well in these elections, it will be in a position to claim that the public rejected all the allegations leveled against it. But if AAP suffers a crushing defeat in the Lok Sabha elections, BJP will say that the people have rejected Arvind Kejriwal. In such a situation, she can try with double the enthusiasm to remove Aam Aadmi Party from Delhi.
On which faces did you trust?
Aam Aadmi Party has got the opportunity to contest on four Lok Sabha seats in Delhi. AAP has fielded its MLA Somnath Bharti from New Delhi Lok Sabha seat. He is a trusted face of the party and Arvind Kejriwal. However, some controversies related to him may create trouble for the party.
AAP has fielded Mahabal Mishra as its candidate from West Delhi. He has been an MP in the past. He also has a good influence on the people of Purvanchal in his area. In such a situation, he can give good news to the Aam Aadmi Party. Dalit face Kuldeep Kumar alias Monu has been fielded from East Delhi. Sahiram Pehalwan has been fielded from South Delhi.
